In early September, the Additive Manufacturing CRC (AMCRC) completed its Board with the appointment of three new directors – Dr Jason Coonan, Graham McLean and Professor Jennifer Loy. Their appointments further strengthen AMCRC’s ability to deliver industry-led research and innovation that advances Australia’s additive manufacturing capability.

With extensive experience across industry, research, commercialisation and strategic leadership, the expanded Board is well positioned to provide strong governance and sector insight as AMCRC progresses its mission to unlock the transformative potential of additive manufacturing for Australia.

“It is wonderful to have Jason, Graham and Jennifer join the Board”, said Susan Jeanes, Chair of the AMCRC.

“Our ambition is to equip Australian industry with smart design, materials and advanced manufacturing capabilities needed to fully realise the benefits of additive manufacturing. Their deep understanding the manufacturing industry and the CRC model makes them ideal additions to guide AMCRC’s next phase.”

The appointments strengthen AMCRC’s sector expertise, industry engagement and strategic capability, ensuring it has the right mix of skills, knowledge and expertise to deliver impactful research, innovation and education programs for Australian manufacturing.
