As Managing Director of the Additive Manufacturing CRC, Simon Marriott sets the strategic direction of the organisation, building a national ecosystem designed to unlock the full potential of additive manufacturing for Australian industry. He works closely with partners across industry, research and government to foster collaboration, guide investment and accelerate innovation into commercial impact.

With more than three decades of leadership across additive and advanced manufacturing, Simon has held senior operational, strategic and board roles throughout Australia and the Asia-Pacific, including leading Formero through significant growth and acquisition. A strong advocate for industry–research collaboration, he is focused on strengthening Australia’s manufacturing capability and global competitiveness.
