As Research Director – Defence at AMCRC, Colin Hall leads collaborative projects that strengthen Australia’s sovereign manufacturing capability through additive manufacturing and advanced materials. He works closely with industry, defence and research partners to identify opportunities, shape programs and support technology adoption in mission critical environments.

With more than 30 years’ experience across academia and industry, Colin focuses on translating research into practical solutions. He has led research translation of additive manufacturing in the defence, space and automotive sectors.
