Chair of the Innovation Taskforce

Professor Suresh Palanisamy chairs AMCRC’s Innovation Taskforce, which brings together industry, research and government partners to accelerate the commercialisation of additive manufacturing technologies. The taskforce fosters cross-industry collaboration, connecting organisations from non-competing sectors and enabling knowledge exchange through regional hubs supported by state governments.

Suresh is Director of Swinburne University of Technology’s Manufacturing Futures Research Platform and Professor of Advanced Manufacturing, specialising in metal additive manufacturing. With extensive experience leading major collaborative research programs, including defence and industry initiatives, he is recognised for building partnerships that translate advanced manufacturing research into real-world industrial impact.
